A made-to-order pendant featuring a natural fossilized coral bead. The unique fossil is set and accented with tasteful wire work in sterling silver and packaged in a hand-stamped gift box. This artistic necklace is for the woman who is fascinated by the mysteries in the ocean's depths.
Each piece is made-to-order, and the photos shown are examples of the piece you will receive. Your jewelry will be made with the same wire work technique and same size and quality of stone. There will be natural variation in the colors and patterns of the stones, as well as variation due to the handmade nature, ensuring that your jewelry is truly unique!
These beautiful fossils formed from ancient coral, the cells of which were gradually replaced by agate from silica rich ground water. This fossil is a stunning example of the amazing processes lifeforms and processes that our planet is capable or creating. This is the perfect piece for any lover of geologic history or ocean science!

CHAIN: The pendant is photographed on a silver-plated copper snake chain, available in lengths of 16 or 20 inches.The silver plating on the chain will eventually wear off, but its a great affordable option. I also have a variety of styles of sterling silver chains available to enhance your pendant, you can see photos in the Chain Section.
CLEANING: Each piece of jewelry also comes with a non-tarnish strip that prevents tarnish by absorbing and trapping the sulfides and other pollutants in the air. If kept in a sealed bag or jewelry box with your silver jewelry the strip will prevent tarnishing for approximately 6 months. Coral is a porous stone and should not be cleaned with silver polish, however it can be cleaned with a gentle toothbrush and warm soapy water.
