The Symbiosis Collection is filled with natural lichens encased in clear epoxy resin, which totally creates the look of a coral reef in an antique aquarium. Lichens are actually a combination of two organisms, algae and fungus. Lichens are able to survive in ecological conditions that neither the algae nor fungus would be able to handle on its own!

The species of lichens in this collection are the lime-green American wolf lichen (Letharia columbiana) forked tube lichen (Hypogymnia imshaugii) collected from Northern California.
